Introduction

The 50 Above 50 competition ("Competition") is organized and conducted by Khyaal (Taisho Ventures Private Limited) ("Organiser"). Khyaal is India’s #1 app for seniors. This Competition aims to celebrate talent among individuals above the age of 50. The Company reserves the right to amend these Rules at its discretion. Participation in the Competition implies acceptance of these rules.

Entry Requirements

• Be above 50 years of age as of the day of registering for 50 Above 50.
• Not have any criminal convictions.
• Not be under any existing contract or arrangement that prevents participation.
• Be either:
• A citizen of India residing in India, a person of Indian origin (PIO)
• An overseas citizen of India (OCI), or
• A person who possesses a valid Indian visa to perform and work in India at the time of audition (excluding those on a tourist or diplomatic visa).
• Employees, representatives, or immediate family members of the Company or any associated agencies are not eligible to participate. For the purpose of this Competition, 'immediate family members' include parents, siblings, spouse, children, and in-laws.

Registration Process

• Participants may register either online through the official website (link) or in-person at the venue during the offline auditions.

• City you are residing in
• Talent Category (One or more categories as per participant's choice)
• Registration and entry submission deadlines, as well as offline audition dates, will be announced soon on the official website.

Registration Fees

• The participation fee for the competition is set at ₹999, which covers registration for two categories.
• For participants who wish to compete in additional categories, an extra fee of ₹500 per category will be applicable.
• Khyaal Club members are eligible for complimentary registration for two categories. They are required to pay only for any additional categories they wish to participate in.

Competition Format

General Rules and Conduct

1. Participants must adhere to all event rules, timelines, and guidelines.
2. Participants are strictly prohibited from performing acts that are offensive, dangerous, defamatory, or otherwise inappropriate.
3. Plagiarism or use of copyrighted materials without permission will result in disqualification.
4. Any misrepresentation of information or breach of rules will lead to immediate disqualification.
5. The Company is not responsible for any expenses incurred by Participants (travel, accommodation, costumes, etc.).
6. The categories for the competition may be modified at any time during the competition at the discretion of the Organiser. Participants will be informed of any changes through official communication channels.
7. Participants grant the Company full and unrestricted rights to use their name, image, audition videos, and performance footage for promotional, marketing, and media purposes.
8. This includes use on social media, television, print, digital platforms, and any other mediums deemed appropriate by the Company.
9. By participating, Participants waive any rights to review or approve such usage and consent to the use of their image and performance footage in perpetuity, worldwide.

Disqualification & Penalties

Prizes & Awards

1. The total prize pool for all winners is up to ₹1 Crore.
2. Prizes are non-transferable and subject to applicable taxes.

Legal & Liability

1. The Company is not liable for any injuries, losses, death or damages sustained by Participants.
2. The Company reserves the right to modify or cancel the Competition at any time.
3. Any disputes will be resolved at the discretion of the Company, and the decision will be final.
4. Participation in the Competition implies agreement to these terms.
